MEGHAN CARLETON
Managing Partner
Meghan is a founding partner of AOI Advisors. Prior to forming AOI, Meghan was a partner at Art Finance Partners for ten years. Meghan was an associate at International Management Group (IMG), London, in Sponsorship and Advertising and preceding IMG, she worked in the editorial department of The Telegraph, London. Meghan received a graduate degree from Christie’s Education, London, and obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University.
CHRISTOPHER KRECKE
Managing Partner
Chris is a founding partner of AOI Advisors. Chris was also a partner at Art Finance Partners for over ten years. Prior to joining Art Finance Partners, he spent two years as CFO/COO of another art-focused specialty finance firm. Chris has over twelve years of investment banking and asset management experience, including raising capital for and providing financial advisory services to early stage and middle market companies. He was a former principal at Bryant Park Capital, Vice President at Joseph Gunnar & Company, as well as a Management Associate at AIG Risk Finance Group. Chris holds an MBA in Finance/Economics from NYU Stern School of Business and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from George Mason University.
MEGHAN COYNE
Director
Meghan began working with AOI Advisors in 2019, and currently assists in research and special projects. Before joining AOI, she spent time working for Caneel Bay Resort as a marketing associate. Meghan has held technology and marketing focused internships at a variety of firms, including Dash Payment, and Saint Colette, LLC. She attended New York University and studied Hospitality and Tourism, with a concentration in Hotel Development. In addition to NYU, she has also studied at the London School of Economics and Florence University of the Arts in Italy.
VALENTINA MILITANA
Valentina G. Militana has been in the art industry for over fifteen years. She has worked extensively with collectors to help broaden their collections as a private advisor, gallerist and auction house. She grew up between Venezuela, Colombia, Miami and New York. Currently based in Miami she works as an independent art advisor where she helps collectors and institutions acquire and strategize in deaccessions. She acts as their representatives negotiating with galleries and auction houses. Most recently, Valentina held the position of Vice-President as a Latin American Art, 20th Century & Contemporary Art specialist based in Miami for Phillips Auction House from 2016-2021. In her role, she worked closely with the teams in New York to strengthen the company’s presence in Miami and Latin America.
